Roger's Garden's Does Creepy

Roger's Garden is a must-see when October comes. Heck its a must see all year long, but they really pull out all the stops for Halloween (and Christmas, too!). They go full force with themes and elaborate decorations (most you can buy, too!) and I love to go and soak up all the ideas my little sponge brain can hold. This year was a backstage-of-the-theater theme and I was loving all the creepy chandeliers. Since most of us have a chandelier in some shape or form, we can easily up the creep-factor during Halloween with some cobwebs, tattered lace, or some of those candles that "bleed". Love it!

Pumpkinspiration

Who knew there were SO many types of pumpkins?!? Well, I guess a Mr. Roger's Gardens did. That man is genius. Especially when it comes Halloween time! Enjoy!

Spooky Script

If you're planning a sophisticated spooky party, you better have some sophisticated spooky writing to adorn all your sophisticated spooky decor, am I right? So I played around with my normal calligraphy to try and up the creep factor (writing creepy words doesn't hurt either). I liked to blotches.....could be blood....or guts. I'm excited to use this for bottle labels, menus, place cards, and the devil knows what else.

Flea Market Find

I love the flea market....but for as often as I go, and for as much stuff that I see and love, I never seem to leave with much. I blame it on the strict "no return policy" that comes with buying other (dead) people's things from other (alive) people out of another man's truck. But today, while choking on a AMAZING chandelier, I managed to walk away with some spooky vintage bottles for a little Halloween fun to come...just wait and see....MUHAHAHA!

1952

I love these women. Found at a flea market, in a suitcase full of other people's memories. These ladies look like they can throw a party.
